  5.    People who have been evaluating version 3.00 should please note the
  6.    following information;

  8.    With version 4.00, there is a new file format for the VIDEODRV.DBF file,
  9.    which now contains more information about the drivers you have installed.
  10.    Your old VIDEODRV.DBF file will not work, and you need to delete it and
  11.    reinstall your drivers again.

  13.    However, I have provided a conversion utility (CONVERT.EXE) to convert
  14.    information from the old file format into the new file format. This is a
  15.    text mode OS/2 program that should be run from a command prompt (after
  16.    changing to the directory in which your VIDEODRV.DBF file is located).

  18.    CONVERT.EXE is really a half-way solution, because the information in the
  19.    old DBF file is rather limited. All that CONVERT.EXE does is to put that
  20.    limited information into the new file format. By using it, you will not
  21.    get the benefits of the extra information in the new file format. Please
  22.    note this point.

  24.    CONVERT.EXE converts the data in VIDEODRV.DBF and puts it into a file
  25.    called CONVERT.DBF. After conversion, you need to back up your old
  26.    VIDEODRV.DBF, delete the copy on your hard disk, and then rename
  27.    CONVERT.DBF to VIDEODRV.DBF.
